About the event
Over two focus days in Fulda, the EDAG Smart Industry Summit 2026 brings together engineering, production and technology specialists around three themes: Smart Product, Smart Factory, and Defence. The programme runs as a series of curated keynotes and use-case sessions rather than a trade-fair format, with EDAG's own experts joined by partners including NVIDIA, Siemens, T-Systems, and Dassault Systèmes.
Day one centers on product development: model-based engineering, the metys data and control platform, digital product passports, and AI-augmented development processes. Day two turns to production: industrial metaverse applications, digital twins, autonomous factory concepts, and industrial AI in manufacturing. A dedicated Solution Studio also gives attendees the chance to bring a specific technical challenge to an EDAG expert and receive an initial response within 48 hours.
