Through its Airport Partnerships, GATE connects airports directly with leading suppliers, innovators, and industry experts. The goal is to create an open ecosystem where new technologies, operational concepts, and infrastructure solutions can be discussed, tested, and further developed together.

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
Through its cooperation with Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), GATE strengthens international collaboration and creates valuable connections between European technology providers and the North American airport market. The partnership supports knowledge exchange and provides insights into innovative airport operations, logistics and infrastructure development.
Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport (PAD)
Together with Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport, GATE promotes practical innovation by providing a real-world environment for testing and validating new airport technologies. The partnership brings together airports, industry and research to develop, evaluate and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, sustainability and the passenger experience. As part of this collaboration, SUITX’s exoskeleton has been tested and further developed under real operating conditions.
Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)
GATE works with Düsseldorf Airport to strengthen dialogue between airport operators and the airport supply industry. The cooperation supports the exchange of expertise on airport technologies, operational challenges and future developments, fostering more efficient, innovative and sustainable airport operations. One example is the testing of a hydrogen-powered passenger bus in real airport operations, helping to identify and analyze practical challenges for future deployment.
Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Through its close cooperation with Hamburg Airport, GATE creates opportunities to test and showcase innovative airport technologies under real operating conditions. The partnership focuses on advancing sustainable airport operations, digital transformation and practical innovation, connecting airport operators with technology providers to accelerate the implementation of future-ready solutions.
