GATE General Assembly at Mechatronic Drive Specialist Lenze

General Assembly at a Hidden Champion near Hamelin: The GATE members already met on November 3 at mechatronic drive specialist Lenze in Groß Berkel to get in the mood for the topics of the future with workshops the day before. After the official welcome by Lenze from Tim-Oliver Ricke, CEO Christian Wendler stepped up to the lectern with the presentation "Using the right data to achieve sustainable energy and process efficiency" and impressively presented the potentials that can be saved.

After this perfect introduction, the attendees split into groups to participate in breakout sessions that Lenze had prepared. In this way, the GATE members learned a lot from Lenze employees on the topics of "Depleted Energy and the Long Road to Sustainability", "From Data to Smart Data to Value Capture" and "DC Industry for Airport".

Inspired and with a good portion of knowledge about their host Lenze in their luggage, the group headed to the Extertal site, where the new Mechatronic Competence Campus was opened a few weeks ago. At the MMC, collaboration in agile, interdisciplinary teams is promoted, thus shortening coordination paths.

With many new impressions of the state-of-the-art development and production site, the group traveled back to Hamelin to end the day there with a networking dinner. The restaurant on the Klüt not only offered a great view of the Pied Piper town, but also a perfect setting for networking.

The second day at host Lenze was dedicated to the GATE general meeting. The voting members were on hand to review 2022 and learn about future activities. The professional set-up at Lenze also enabled online transmission via teams. Numerous GATE members also joined in this way. GATE president Kay Bärenfänger opened the general assembly and welcomed all present.

GATE Managing Director Jens Reinhard presented the exhibitions, events and new cooperations and also went into the developments of aviation. The auditors Tim-Oliver Ricke and Stefan Huke officially discharged the treasurer Ernst-August Gohde and thus the entire board.

GATE would like to take this opportunity to thank Lenze once again for the perfect organization and also all members who made the trip to Groß Berkel near Hamelin.
