GATE offers a wide range of activities. In the working groups there is a professional exchange of opinions and experience between members. GATE organizes conferences and exhibits at the most important fairs of the airport industry. This is how the association ensures a transfer of knowledge at the highest level. Furthermore, networking with all parties involved in the airport industry plays a major role for GATE.
Expert Groups
In our expert groups: Digitization & AI, Ramp, Security, Sustainability, Marketing and Baggage Handling new trends are identified, solutions will be found and standards are set. GATE pays attention to fair competition conditions.
GATE Future
When experts come together, information, idea and knowledge exchange at the highest level is the result. We discuss innovative technologies and the future of airports not just at trade fairs, but also at GATE events.
Exhibitions
GATE and its member companies are represented at all the leading events of the airport industry. GATE provides its members with numerous ways to benefit from these international exhibitions, with our own booths incorporating GATE branding and marketing materials if desired, or by participating in the increasingly popular GATE shared booth.
General Assembly
The General Assembly takes place every year in autumn. The office of GATE reports from the activities of the past year. Decisions for next year’s activities and participations on international events will be discussed and decided.
The meeting usually takes place at the head office of a member company and is accompanied by interesting lectures and discussions. This event also includes a fascinating tour behind the scenes of the host company.
