Industry-specific door solutions for effective airport security and logistics are part of the product portfolio of EFAFLEX, a new member of GATE. The high-speed doors of this family-owned company from Bruckberg near Munich are specifically tailored to the needs of the airport sector and are used in areas such as baggage handling, catering, and refueling.
"Our products contribute to reducing energy costs, improving personal safety, and minimizing downtime," explains Business Owner Airports Alexander Fuchs, who received initial contact with GATE through the company Materna IPS. "Together with Materna IPS, we have developed a solution for the self bag drop, which incorporates our high-speed roller door EFA-SRT MHT Compact," comments Fuchs.
Through collaboration with Materna IPS, EFAFLEX received first-hand experience and feedback on GATE membership and quickly decided to join the association. The goal: to expand the network. "In
particular, the international trade fair participation with the joint booths convinced us," summarizes the Regional Manager - Northern Europe. EFAFLEX's high-speed doors can be found in airports
in over 80 countries, and the GATE membership is intended to support their expansion course.
