GATE is delighted to welcome a young company to the association that develops products that primarily benefit people and the environment. With Air Life Hightech GmbH's solutions, airports and other companies can quickly and easily ensure a clean, fresh and healthier local climate and working conditions - indoor and outdoor.
The “Windo” product is a self-sufficient, self-cleaning filter system that can be placed directly where it is needed. It can simply be connected via plug (230V) and play. Windo not only purifies the air, but also cools the air and eliminates viruses, germs and bacteria. Additionally, Windo optimizes the humidity which is existential for healthy conditions - and all this without chemistry - just according to the principles of nature. Compared to conventional systems, which can clean around 5,000 m³ of air per hour, the active filter system manages almost three times the volume, i.e. 14,000 m³ of air per hour. And Windo needs just less than 1 kWh for all these benefits. Windo does not need filter exchanges. This is reducing costs and waste.

Airports benefit twice over when they opt for a product from the new GATE member. Not only is it easy to install, it can also be used as an advertising space. The WindoLED variant, for example, combines healthy and fresh air with a 360° LED screen, which highlights advertising content in an eye-catching way.
"In order to work more intensively on the airport business, it was clear to us that we would join an association. At the Passenger Terminal Expo in Frankfurt, the GATE joint booth immediately caught our eye. The appearance and the constructive discussions with the team and other members convinced us immediately," recalls Norbert W. Hartung.
The young company from Markkleeberg has already placed its solutions at Fraport AG, Frankfurt. Leipzig Airport will follow very soon. "Our products can already be found in Fraport AG´s head quarter in Frankfurt. Due to very good results we will equip terminal 1 in the next step," says Norbert W. Hartung.
By the way, all components of Windo -including the LED screens- are fully certified regarding fire protection in public areas, making windo an interesting solution for airport architects and its associated companies.
"We would like to contribute our knowledge of climate issues and fire prevention to the GATE working groups and are looking forward to an inspiring exchange," says Norbert W. Hartung.
