APS Airport Protection System

APS provides airports, airlines and aircraft maintenance companies with cutting edge solutions for aircraft run-up noise & jet blast protection.

Our story goes back to the 1960s when we were part of the German Rheinhold & Mahla Group. At this time, the Munich based company was the leading provider in Europe for industrial noise protection and already acting worldwide. At the beginning we focused on noise enclosures and noise reduction measures for gas turbines for the power generation. From there it was only a small step to jet engines. Already in 1982 we developed, supplied and installed our first GRE for Lufthansa Technik in Manila, Philippines. A facility we are very proud of as it is still in service with almost daily use.

Today APS is the only Big Player for jet blast protection based in the European Union. From Munich we provide German Engineering to our customers all over the world.
